Dr Chris Mogan will lead this training day on diagnosis, treatment and intervention for compulsive hoarding. The event will coincide with the launch of a regionally-published toolkit for working with people who hoard.
This one-day hoarding workshop is designed to provide information for appropriately assessing risk, identifying referral and intervention pathways, and discussing the issue of hoarding with clients and other services. The presentation will include case-specific learning and a panel discussion with local practitioners.
Dr Chris Mogan is a leading expert on compulsive hoarding and provides specialist training for health workers and other professionals whose clients have hoarding-related disorders. An Adjunct Research Fellow at Swinburne University, he has conducted research and therapy programs in association with the SwinPsyCHE Research Centre and the RMIT Psychology Clinic.
